Punch pizza was born from a simple but powerful belief: that truly great pizza begins with great ingredients, real craftsmanship, and a kitchen that cares. Founded in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, we set out to bring the authentic flavors of artisan pizza-making to the United States — one hand-stretched crust at a time.

Our founder, Marco Bellini, spent years studying the traditions of Neapolitan pizza in Naples before returning to the Midwest with a recipe worth sharing. He believed that punch pizza should deliver more than a meal — it should deliver an experience: the satisfying char of a wood-fired crust, the richness of hand-crushed San Marzano tomatoes, and the perfect pull of fresh-made mozzarella.

Today, Punch pizza has grown from a small neighborhood kitchen into a beloved destination for pizza lovers across the region. Our team of passionate cooks, bakers, and hospitality professionals carry that founding spirit forward in every pie we make.

2009

The First Oven Is Lit

Marco Bellini opens the original Punch pizza kitchen in Eden Prairie, MN, with one wood-fired oven, a 12-item menu, and a dream to share real Neapolitan craft with the United States.

2012

Community Recognition

Punch pizza earns its first "Best Pizza" award from local food critics, and weekend wait times stretch to 90 minutes. A second oven is added and the dining room expands.

2015

Online Ordering Launches

We launch our first digital ordering platform, making punch pizza delivery available across the Eden Prairie area. Orders double within the first month.

2019

Catering & Events

Punch pizza expands into catering for corporate events, weddings, and private parties. Our mobile pizza station becomes one of the most requested setups in the region.

2023

50,000 Pizzas Milestone

We celebrate our 50,000th pizza served — a classic Margherita. The team raises a glass of San Pellegrino and looks ahead to the next 50,000 with the same passion as day one.
